Pin Header, a type of connector, also known as "pin header" in English. This connector is widely used in the PCB circuit boards of electronics, electrical appliances, and instruments. Its function is to act as a bridge in circuits that are interrupted or isolated, facilitating the transmission of current or signals. It is usually used in conjunction with a female header to form board-to-board connections, or with electronic wire harness terminals to form board-to-wire connections; it can also be independently used for board-to-board connections. Since different products require different specifications, pin headers come in various models and specifications. According to the standard classification of pin header connectors in the electronics industry: Based on the pitch, they can be roughly divided into five categories: 2.54mm, 2.00mm, 1.27mm, 1.00mm, and 0.8mm. Based on the number of rows, there are single-row, double-row, and triple-row pin headers; based on the packaging method, there are surface-mount technology (SMT) (horizontal/vertical mount), dual in-line package (DIP) (straight/bent insert), etc.

Female Header, a type of connector, known in English as "female header." It is a widely used general-purpose connector in electronics, electrical appliances, and instruments, mainly serving the purpose of transmitting current or signals. It is usually used in conjunction with a pin header to form board-to-board connections.
